About Me
Hello! I'm Erika, a certified meditation teacher with a passion for helping people reconnect with their breath, their bodies, and their inner compass.
My journey into mindfulness began nearly six years ago, during a time when I finally realized that I was not living in the present moment. I was so often lost in thought, either ruminating about the past or worrying about the future. I was missing out on life, on being present for my children. That realization changed everything.
Since then, I’ve completed the two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP), certified by the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkeley. I’m currently expanding my practice through the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program and Warriors at Ease training, a path that is designed to bring mindfulness and yoga to veterans. These studies have deepened my own presence and continue to shape the way I teach with curiosity, humility, and compassion.
As a mother of two, my relationship with parenting has transformed profoundly through mindfulness. I’ve learned how to meet my children with presence, how to listen more deeply, and how to honor both their emotions and my own. I have also learned how to navigate co-parenting and guiding them through that transition as well as my own.
Today, I help others navigate life’s meaningful changes, whether it’s divorce, evolving roles in parenting, shifting relationships, or the quiet storms of everyday overwhelm. My teaching is gentle, real, and rooted in the belief that presence isn’t perfection, it’s practice.
When I’m not guiding meditations, you can find me scuba diving, walking in nature, or on the mats practicing jiu jitsu.
